New York State Department of Motor Vehicles mandates Certified Examiners attend a refresher once every three years to maintain certification. PTSI has been offering Refresher Seminars since 1996 – before 1998 regulations required attendance.

Since Refresher topics change annually, attending each year enables CEs to keep up with changes in regulations and learn and share ideas and concerns.

In addition to professionalism, information presented includes a review of proper filing techniques and driver file oversight. The refresher also provides a great opportunity to interact with CEs in your geographical area from all modes of transportation governed by Article 19-A. (You do not have to be a Certified Examiner to attend these refreshers.)
